10U Crimson Pride Tryouts

Good Morning,
I hope the summer is treating you well.

With summer winding down, it's time to shift our focus to the 2025 baseball season. Thank you for your interest in playing Crimson Pride 10U travel baseball. The philosophy of this program is to provide Penfield Little League ballplayers the opportunity to play baseball at an advanced level, while increasing their understanding of the game from a situational and fundamental perspective and also creating an environment that fosters why baseball is America’s pastime! The travel program includes continued growth through the fall and into the winter months. We will have the opportunity to rent indoor facility space where we will host practices and work on the fundamentals of the game. In the spring and summer months of 2025, we also will be participating in local travel leagues (games held on Sundays or Fridays) and tournaments hosted in and around the Rochester area (some teams choose to do an overnight tournament) More information will be provided after the formation of the team(s).

Who is eligible: All players that will be Little League Age 10 for the 2025 season

Evaluation Dates/Location:
Sept 1 - PLL
Sept 7 - PLL

Team Selection:
If turnout allows we will create two teams, if there is still interest at the point we will consider a third team if we can secure a qualified coach. Coaches will notify their teams by phone or email.
What we will evaluate:
The purpose of the tryout is to evaluate your child in the following areas: base running, fielding, hitting, attitude/hustle, coachability.
Cost:
There is an additional cost beyond your house Penfield Little League Registration fee, this cost will vary by team based on Tournament selection, practice time, locations and uniforms. In the past, the cost has been around $450.
